Our Commitment

Amazing Care Counseling and Recovery Agency, LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continuously work to improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards. As a Louisiana Department of Health licensed Behavioral Health Services provider, we believe that meaningful access to care begins with meaningful access to information.

Conformance Status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Our website strives to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and to comply with the applicable provisions of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

Accessibility Features

This site has been designed with the following accessibility features in mind:

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Sufficient color contrast for text and interactive elements
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
  • Keyboard-navigable menus, forms, and interactive components
  • Visible focus indicators for keyboard users

  • Forms with clearly associated labels and error messages
  • Responsive layout supporting mobile, tablet, and desktop devices
  • Compatibility with current versions of major screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver)

Accommodations for Services

In addition to digital accessibility, our clinic provides reasonable accommodations to ensure equal access to our behavioral health services. We do not discriminate on the basis of disability. Available accommodations include:

  • Wheelchair-accessible entrance, restroom, and group rooms
  • Large-print intake and clinical paperwork upon request
  • Assistance completing forms
  • Interpretation services, including American Sign Language (ASL), arranged in advance at no cost to the client
  • Telehealth options for clients for whom in-person attendance is a barrier
