How Amazing Care began.
Amazing Care was not built from a textbook — it was built from a life. Growing up, I was a child in a home where my father quietly battled alcohol use. I did not yet have the words for what was happening, but I felt every moment of it. I did not realize then how deeply that struggle would shape the person I would become.
As the years passed, I watched the same battle reach for my brothers, one by one. I prayed it would let them go. It did not. Eventually, I stood by as my father lost his fight to addiction — and slowly, painfully, I watched the men I loved follow that same heartbreaking path.
In time, I began to see what addiction had quietly done to me, too — how growing up beside it shaped my decisions, my relationships, and the way I moved through the world as an adult. That awareness did not break me. It called me. It became a conviction that no family should have to walk this road alone, in silence, or without hope.
Amazing Care Counseling and Recovery Agency was born from that conviction — a sanctuary where pain is met with compassion, where struggle is met with skill, and where every person is reminded that healing, recovery, and a renewed life are possible.
